Getting Started

The Story So Far

On August 18, 2008, famed singer-songwriter Amanda Palmer told Jack Fox, the program director for WKAP-FM, that she would be staying at a friend's house in Acton for a few days. She hasn't been heard from since.

On August 20, police logged a sighting of Amanda late at night playing poker with RJ on someone front porch.

On August 27, Amanda's assistant Beth Hommel went to the house and discovered the door unlocked, signs of a struggle, blood, torn clothing -- but no Amanda. The police investigated, but turned up nothing.

On September 16, artist Laura Dale found a cookie tin in a rabbit hole by some train tracks in London, stuffed with rather disturbing photographs of (among other things) an apparently dead Amanda Palmer in a variety of locations and poses. She turned them over to the police.

On April 2, 2009, police found a body in Boston, which they reportedly identified as that of Amanda Palmer. The body had multiple stab wounds, and she was believed to have been dead for no more than 24-36 hours. When the police attempted to remove the body from the scene, however, it had disappeared.

Meanwhile, a mysterious stranger has been leaving clues scattered across the Internet. Clearly there is more here than meets the eye.
